Claire Buetow is a Senior Policy Analyst for the Texas Indigent Defense Commission. Before joining TIDC, Claire was a Staff Attorney at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association, where she worked to evaluate and improve indigent defense systems around the country. Claire received her Juris Doctor degree from the George Washington University Law School. During law school, she was a member of the Public Contract Law Journal and a student attorney in the GW Law Prisoner & Reentry Clinic, and was awarded for her legal writing and pro bono service. Claire received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College.
