Kenitra Brown

Kenitra spent the last 5 years as the Staff Attorney and Director of Engagement at the Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center at SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. Previously, she spent several years in private criminal defense and civil practice in Dallas, with additional experience in federal clemency and post-conviction relief actions. Kenitra has a B.A. in Political Science, Policy Studies, and Religious Studies from Rice University, and a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law.
